Since our wedding is on a Friday afternoon, we recommend flying in Thursday to ensure that you arrive on time. Depending on where you choose to stay, all 3 major Bay Area airports -- San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK) and San Jose International Airport (SJC) are okay.

Pleasanton is part of the tri-valley region in the Easy Bay. Pleasanton is far from the hussle and bustle of the city, but is home to many award-winning wineries, breweries and restaurants. If you plan on doing a lot of tourism in San Francisco, just know that Pleasanton is about 1.5 hours away from the city center.

San Francisco is the center of many of the major tourist attractions in the Bay Area. You will always be close to a lot of food, entertainment and beautiful sites. The city is about 1.5 hours away from the wedding venue, but may be a good place to stay if you plan to explore the city for the remainder of the weekend after the wedding.

Oakland is about 45 minutes away from the wedding venue, and 30 minutes away from San Francisco. This is a good location for a hotel as it is relatively close to the tourist attactions of San Francisco, and not too far from the ceremony and reception.

Similar to Oakland, San Jose is about 45 minutes away from the wedding venue, but is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from San Francisco. It is the home of Silcon Valley and has great restuarants and shopping.
